1. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling a service, using our website at northapplianceservice.com, or engaging North Appliance Service for appliance repair, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
North Appliance Service provides in-home appliance diagnosis and repair services for residential and commercial customers in the greater Seattle area, including King County and Snohomish County, Washington. Services include but are not limited to the repair of refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves, and gas appliances.
We reserve the right to decline service for any reason, including situations where a repair is deemed unsafe, not cost-effective, or outside our service area.
3. Service Appointments & Cancellation Policy
Scheduling: Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will confirm your appointment by phone or email.
Arrival Window: Our technicians aim to arrive within the scheduled service window. We will contact you if there are any delays.
Cancellation: We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a service call fee.
Access: You must provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance for the technician to perform diagnosis and repair.
4. Payment Terms & Methods
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at time of service.
A diagnostic fee may apply for service calls where no repair is performed. This fee covers the technician’s time and travel.
All prices are quoted in US dollars and are subject to applicable Washington State taxes.
5. Warranty & Guarantee Policy
Parts Warranty: We provide a warranty on replacement parts as specified at the time of service (typically 90 days to 1 year depending on the part).
Labor Warranty: Our labor is warranted for 30 days from the date of repair. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period due to our workmanship, we will return to address it at no charge.
Exclusions: Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, additional failures unrelated to the original repair, power surges, or conditions outside our control.
6. Limitation of Liability
North Appliance Service’s liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from appliance failure, repair delays, or any other service-related matter. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
– Providing accurate information about the appliance and the problem
– Ensuring safe and accessible working conditions for our technicians
– Clearing the area around the appliance before the technician’s arrival
– Securing pets during the service appointment
– Being present or having an authorized adult (18+) present during service
8. Intellectual Property
All content on northapplianceservice.com including text, images, logos, and design is the property of North Appliance Service and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Washington State.
